HIPAA mandates that affected organizations appoint specific HIPAA personnel, such as Certified HIPAA Administrators and Certified HIPAA Security Specialists. Additionally, professionals with HIPPA certification are needed to act as compliance officers, managing the overall HIPAA implementation process.
